ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ I have a tendency to go through my life at full speed and as a one-man band, and so I don't generally stop and take in other people enough to develop many relationships. I'm starting to regret that a bit. I want to change it. I have tried to keep on with my striving because this is the only hope I have of ever achieving anything worthwhile and lasting. I'm obsessive about the kind of melodrama of getting through the days and trying to make them good and funny and a happy experience. But my feeling towards the fans is that they delivered me from darkness. I have never tried to fiddle my role as leader of the city of Sheffield, as an MP or as a minister. Don't tell them what to do, but encourage them to do what is best. The philosophy of the school was quite simple - the bright boys specialised in Latin, the not so bright in science and the rest managed with geography or the like. Now that I am a deputy, I will cease to be an agitator. Warmth isn't what minimalists are thought to have. But I hang on to books. I love them. I even think they're very nice decor in a room - far better than paintings... That's not quite true! Our party believes in diversity, not uniformity. Even though I grew up as a Sephardic Jew in Brooklyn where we ate Syrian food and went to temple, it was still America. Kids think of us as being totally over the hill. I hated school. Even to this day, when I see a school bus it's just depressing to me. The poor little kids. Creativity is the power to connect the seemingly unconnected. My wife and I have so much fun when we travel and find anything... like stray cats and squirrels. I'm laughing because I know the secret of life. And the secret of life is that I have validated my existence. I know that I am worth more than my house, my bank account, or any physical thing. I am a hero worshiper. I love the number one tennis player. I love the number one baseball player. I want to see those records broken. There is nothing stronger in the world than gentleness. No man thinks there is much ado about nothing when the ado is about himself. I like to sing. I write music. Country songs. You have to if you're in Nashville. It's part of the lease. You sign a lease that says, I will write country songs and pay my rent on time. We let folks know we're interested in them and that they're vital to us. cause they are. It is rather hard to be accused of shiftlessness and idleness when the accuser closes the avenue of labour and industrial pursuits to us. I'm not into organized religion. I'm into believing in a higher source of creation, realizing we're all just part of nature. |
Rather fail with honor than succeed by fraud.
