I am thankful for laughter, except when milk comes out of my nose. Some of them profess to be well acquainted with all the principal waters of the Columbia, with which they assured me these waters had no connection short of the ocean. I would steep myself in America, I would know no other land. It's very hard to remain a student in life. I'll be helping them getting suited up, getting them in the airlock, getting the airlock prepared, and getting them out the hatch, and then talking them through these three spacewalks. The most intense curiosity and excitement prevailed, and though the weather was uncertain, enormous masses of densely packed people lined the road, shouting and waving hats and handkerchiefs as we flew by them. And these virtues are what keep this great country together. Ultimately, there is no compromise. Westerners will either retain their civilization, including the right to insult and blaspheme, or not. Bald is the new black! A concert is a concert is a concert is a concert. An album is an album is an album is an album. Musically, both have nothing in common. Fascism is capitalism plus murder. Alas! if the principles of contentment are not within us, the height of station and worldly grandeur will as soon add a cubit to a man's stature as to his happiness. I have tried to talk about the issues in this campaign... and this has sometimes been a lonely road, because I never meet anybody coming the other way.
