If you want to go to the mall, you have to take security. But it's always cool. The kids are amazing. Pure truth cannot be assimilated by the crowd; it must be communicated by contagion. The Pledge of Allegiance is an important expression of our shared values, and it should be preserved in its current form. I fully support the Pledge of Allegiance and urge my colleagues to do the same. Advice is seldom welcome; and those who want it the most always want it the least. Just the other day, it seems, the kids were running through the house, slamming doors, breaking glass, making noise. Time goes by so quickly. Sometimes everything seems so fleeting. I do believe in the power of prayer. I do believe in putting good out into the world. And I believe in taking care of each other. Getting out from under the shadow of Henry Fonda was difficult. Israel is now sustaining a war for its own existence. A nation defending its citizens against terrorist bombings and a military and diplomatic onslaught by an array of Arab foes is practicing survival, not genocide. A sincere diplomat is like dry water or wooden iron. The noble man is only God's image. The real evil with which we have to contend is not the physical evil of the Famine, but the moral evil of the selfish, perverse and turbulent character of the people. Of course risk-taking does not always pay off, but it's a lot of fun! I have found it easier to identify with the characters who verge upon hysteria, who were frightened of life, who were desperate to reach out to another person. But these seemingly fragile people are the strong people really. A lot of people go to find themselves.
