Patience will achieve more than force. Politics is largely a matter of heart. The less you open your heart to others, the more your heart suffers. The Fed chairmanship is not the kind of job where you want to surprise everyone with your choice of a total unknown. You don't want to surprise Wall Street. My biggest failure is I have too many to talk about. Talking about auditions, you never know what anyone else is thinking. You can't legislate good will - that comes through education. Psycho-analyses, how disgusting. To busy oneself with what is futile when one can do something useful, to attend to what is simple when one has the mettle to attempt what is difficult, is to strip talent of its dignity. Nature is the most beautiful thing we have. It's better than art because it's from the creator. A lot of the cosmologists and astrophysicists clearly had been reading science fiction. There's no dearth of kindness in this world of ours; Only in our blindness we gather thorns for flowers. I had been in so many towns and cities in America with John Kennedy, but I was not with him in Dallas, Texas, on November 21, 1963. I had too much respect for the game to leave it behind or to make it my second or third sport in college. While our country has made great strides in breaking down the barriers which for so long denied equal opportunity to all Americans, we are not yet the beautiful symphony of brotherhood of Dr. King's dream. But time is yet another of God's creations, and as such, it has a life of its own. I'd rather have a part where you walk into a room and you leave. That's perfect for me. I don't know if I'm very complicated at all. I wish I was. I wish I was one of these deep, intricate people. But I just love having fun really. Times change. The farmer's daughter now tells jokes about the traveling salesman. Sons of Islam everywhere, the jihad is a duty - to establish the rule of Allah on earth and to liberate your countries and yourselves from America's domination and its Zionist allies, it is your battle - either victory or martyrdom.
