There is a growing feeling that perhaps Texas is really another country, a place where the skies, the disasters, the diamonds, the politicians, the women, the fortunes, the football players and the murders are all bigger than anywhere else. You kind of think people get sick of you after a while, but apparently not. Jewelry takes people's minds off your wrinkles. Do you want to be safe and good, or do you want to take a chance and be great? If one is seriously interested in preventing reproductive cloning, one must stop the process before it starts. Facts are, insurance ratings are really dependent on the notion that some people are higher risk than others. I had to figure out how to bring the world into my work. Everything we talk about is about beating the Packers, the Bears and the Vikings. Obviously there are other teams in the league, but if you can dominate and be on top of your division you are always in the playoff hunt. It's time for us to win that thing. A great amount has been talked and written about what constitutes a sufficient balance and what really is meant by the concepts of "balance" and "deterrence". I think it's a terrible thing to write and not enjoy it. It's a sad thing. But of course a lot of people do work because they need to eat. And we all need to eat, but that's not the only reason to work. You couldn't have paid me not to write. Music is the most powerful thing on this earth, and it's hard to be angry when you are listening to music. Exchange is creation. Imagine, a September 11 with weapons of mass destruction. It's not 3,000. It's tens of thousands of innocent men, women and children. I get whatever placidity I have from my father. But my mother taught me how to take it on the chin. I arrived in Hollywood without having my nose fixed, my teeth capped, or my name changed. That is very gratifying to me. Art is the only way to run away without leaving home. I was not particularly bright, I wasn't very athletic, I was a little too tall, odd, funny looking, I was just really weird as a kid. At the time the Sendmail program had a very poor reputation with respect to security, with four root vulnerabilities per year for two successive years. They keep the old business. We keep the ongoing business. Who shall measure the hat and violence of the poet's heart when caught and tangled in a woman's body? I believe totally in a Capitalist System, I only wish that someone would try it. Leave undone whatever you hesitate to do.
