The ultimate end of education is happiness or a good human life, a life enriched by the possession of every kind of good, by the enjoyment of every type of satisfaction. There are a lot of bands who claim to be punk and they only play the music, they have no clue what it's all about. It's a lifestyle. It's not about popularity and all that crap. Occasionally I do things against my inner voice, but you really should go for the thing that touches you most-even if you don't quite know why it does. As soon as the dirt is hitting the casket, it'll all be forgotten. I think back to some of the things Harry said and some of the things I said trying to be funny. If I said them now, it would be on the front page of every newspaper in the country. You know that look women get when they want sex? Me neither. The Simpsons take up so little time that I'm able to do other things as well. In order to attain the impossible, one must attempt the absurd. I realize now I could have gotten a whole book out of that and so I think that was a big mistake. But the truth is you write in the moment and with your head down and there is no way back then that I could have conceived of Harry having the longevity that he has had.
