The great corrupter of public man is the ego. Looking at the mirror distracts one's attention from the problem. I have to be happy in the here and now because every time you start focusing on your legacy you're really setting yourself up for disappointment. I took solace in my relationship with God who, along with my dog, was my best friend growing up. Men willingly believe what they wish. We shape our buildings; thereafter they shape us.
