We are Indians, firstly and lastly. For every failure, there's an alternative course of action. You just have to find it. When you come to a roadblock, take a detour. Knowing what you can not do is more important than knowing what you can do. In fact, that's good taste. A god who let us prove his existence would be an idol. On the one hand, the press, television, and movies make heroes of vandals by calling them whiz kids. Did I think it would last 30 years? No, I didn't think it would have those kind of legs. I happen to think that American politics is one of the noblest arts of mankind; and I cannot do anything else but write about it. I mean, look, I wear makeup in films. I don't wear makeup in real life. It's just part of the gig, that's all.
