I'm doing a play, a musical. The musical follows the Mamma Mia concept. It's my first LA theater project. You have spent many lives and much treasure to bring freedom to many lands that were reluctant to receive it. In some cases, inventions prohibit innovation because we're so caught up in playing with the technology, we forget about the fact that it was supposed to be important. There will always be a certain element of extremists on either side, left or right, who no mainstream news outlet is going to satisfy. I couldn't imagine what Fox thought they were doing, contemplating such a jagged protagonist for a prime-time drama. I only knew that I wanted the role very much. It might seem unfair to reward a person for having so much pleasure over the years, asking the maize plant to solve specific problems and then watching its responses.
